How does anyone stay positive in this business when the going rate for bookings to auditions is 1 booking for every 20 auditions?
Any how does anyone ever get an audition when for every 10-20 submissions to casting directors you get 1 audition?
I have to improve my chances.
Ok - I followed up with some of industry people - (see group of seven posting), but more doors closed then opened. So how do I get through the door?
Direct Mail.
Thats right - the mailman can get in so I'm going to send all the casting directors a postcard or some sort of fun package with my headshots and resume.
Today, I'm brain storming ideas on how to get through the door - gorilla marketing styles. Stay tuned I'm so on it!
